Day 01 Airport/Elephant Orphanage / kandy
Arrival. Meet and greet by green Travels at the Airport. Transfer to Hotel in Kandy. Dinner at the hotel Overnight stay at the hotel.

The elephant orphanage was primarily designed to afford care and protection to the many baby elephants found in the jungle without their mothers. In most of these cases the mother had either died or been killed. In some instances the baby had fallen into a pit and in others the mother had fallen in and died. If you leave the hotel early then you can watch the elephants bath in the river after the youngest babies are milk fed.

Kandy is, perhaps, its most beautiful town on the island. The focal point of historical Kandy is the golden-roofed Dalada Maligawa, where the sacred tooth relic of the Buddha is enshrined. The highlight of every year is the Esala Perahera, when a replica of

the relic casket is taken in procession, accompanied by exotically costumed dancers, drummers and some 100 elephants during ten glittering nights in July/August. There are numerous shrines and temples in and around Kandy, where you will see rare paintings, frescoes, and stone carvings. In the evening you’ll be watching a cultural performance by traditional Kandyan dancers and drummers.
Day 2 nuwara Eliya/ /Ramboda waterfalls / Anjaneyar temple /Tea Plantation.
Anjaneear Temple in Pusselawa and Visit Sri Baktha Hanuman Temple, Ramboda. The Ramboda area is believed to be an area where Rama's forces were gathered against Ravana. Rampadai means Rama's Force. The hills of Ramboda is also believed where Hanuman was searching for Sitadevi. The Chinmaya mission of Sri Lanka has built an Anjaneyar temple with Hanuman as the presiding deity. This temple is called Sri Baktha Hanuman temple and the image of lord Hanuman here is 16 Feet tall.

Day 3 NUWARA-ELIYA / BANDARAWELA / ELLA
The Sita Amman Temple can be seen en route to the Hakgala Botanical Gardens. The prominent temple architecture will not fail to attract your attention. According to legend this site is associated with Sita. Ancient statues of Rama and Sita can be seen on one side of the temple. The temple today is a modern building with its paintings, statues and pillars decorated with sculptures; all depicting the tale of Rama and Sita. The rear of the temple overlooks a stream, while from its front can be seen the Hakgala peaks.

The Hakgala Botanical Gardens was one of the pleasure gardens of King Ravana. This garden was expanded during the British period and has a wide variety of flowers including an excellent collection of orchids Overnight stay at ella
Day 4 Ella/Ravana cave/Ravana waterfall /colombo
Ella is a small mountain village near Bandarawela and boasts three locations linked to the Ramayana where local legend claims Ravana was hiding Sita. First there is the Ravana Ella Cave, located at the massive Ella Falls; a breathtaking 1080 feet high waterfall that cascades into several falls. The rocky undergoes of the waterfall is Khondalite, a kind of limestone which undergoes faster decay as hard gneiss or granite. This has resulted in many caves being formed near the falls. King Ravana is said to have lived in one of the caves above the waterfall.
Day 5 colombo/chilaw/negambo.
After breakfast proceed to Colombo city and shopping tour. Colombo is famous for foreign visitors to do shopping. Garments, porcelain products, handicraft, Ceylon tea etc,

Munneswaram : Visit Munneswaram- it is about 12 kilometers from Chilaw town on Colombo Puttalam road.
(Approximately 90 Minutes Drive) After his victorious battle, Lord Rama left for Ayodhya, in one of King Ravana”s vimana (carriages).He felt he was being followed by bramhaasthi dosham as he had killed King Ravana who was a Brahmin. Legend has it that when he came to this place he felt bramhaasthi dosham was not following him and he stopped the vimana and asked God Shiva for a remedy. Lord Shiva blessed Lord Rama and advised him to install four lingams there and pray to get rid of the dosham. Since then many Hindu devotees flock to the Temple.
